The class begins with a stretching period to prepare the body and then offers a series of muscle-strengthening exercises inspired by dance (ballet and modern dance).
Originally from France, Céline Trémeau discovered modern dance at the age of 4 and later explored jazz and ballet during her teenage years. She continued her training at local schools and then specialized in contemporary dance with renowned companies. Céline enrolled in the training program at the Rencontres Internationales de Danse Contemporaine (R.I.D.C) in Paris, a school founded by Françoise and Dominique Dupuy. Throughout her teaching career, Céline has regularly trained in various techniques, notably floor barre at the Studio Harmonic in Paris.
Upon arriving in Canada in 2004, she worked in educational institutions across the greater Montreal area and in private dance schools, including Ballet Divertimento, the Outremont Dance Academy, Studio Danse Montréal, and the Metropolitan Ballet Academy. Céline holds the State Diploma of Dance Teacher issued by the French Ministry of Culture and has been a certified MUNZ FLOOR® coach since 2020. She has been teaching dance and mat barre for over 20 years.
