Did you know that the practice of postures is just one of the eight facets of yoga? Much more than a simple form of exercise, yoga is a complete discipline for both the body and mind. In this practical and theoretical workshop, François will guide you through a brief exploration of the entire discipline.

An introduction to the 8 limbs of yoga (Ashtanga), a short posture practice (to observe the asanas differently) and pranayama, exploration of some fundamental principles of the yogic tradition, as well as a meditation session. There will also be time to address any questions you may have about yoga or the topics discussed.

During this workshop, you will learn:

Exploration of the subtle dimensions of yoga.

You will discover the deeper aspects of yoga, going beyond simple physical postures, with a focus on breath, meditation, and yogic philosophy.

Breathing techniques (Pranayama)

You will learn specific breathing techniques to calm the mind, stimulate energy, and improve physical and mental health.

Integration of yoga into daily life.

Integrate the teachings of yoga into your daily life, whether through regular practice of conscious breathing, meditation, or by living according to yogic principles.

Body-mind-energy connection.

Develop a finer awareness of the relationship between the body, mind, and vital energy, allowing for better management of stress, emotions, and physical tension.

J'ai découvert le yoga alors que je traversais une longue période plutôt brumeuse. Comme un sentier inespéré, cette discipline s'est révélée être l'outil idéal pour une prise d'action nécessaire sur différents aspects problématiques de ma vie. La rencontre avec mon maître, Swami Premananda Saraswati, fut déterminante dans mon parcours et je lui en serai éternellement reconnaissant. J'ai été formé en hatha yoga classique et initié à la tradition du tantra himalayen. Inspiré par la grande tradition de maître et élève, c'est principalement auprès de lui et à travers ses enseignements que j'ai pratiqué, approfondis mes connaissances et évolué dans l'univers du yoga. En complément, j'ai aussi étudié la méditation et la philosophie dans une école de bouddhisme tibétain. Plusieurs années de pratique assidue et plus de mille heures de formations spécialisées en yoga et en méditation m'ont complètement transformé et amené sur un parcours beaucoup plus enrichissant que j'aurais pu l'imaginer. Le métier d’enseignant, que je pratique depuis plus de 10ans, puis celui de formateur, se sont installés graduellement au fil de mon parcours.

I discovered yoga during a long, rather foggy period of my life. Like an unexpected path, this discipline proved to be the ideal tool for taking necessary action on various problematic aspects of my life. Meeting my teacher, Swami Premananda Saraswati, was pivotal in my journey, and I will be forever grateful to him.I was trained in classical Hatha yoga and initiated into the Himalayan tantra tradition. Inspired by the great tradition of master and student, it is primarily through him and his teachings that I practiced, deepened my knowledge, and evolved in the world of yoga.In addition, I also studied meditation and philosophy at a Tibetan Buddhism school. Many years of diligent practice and over a thousand hours of specialized training in yoga and meditation have completely transformed me and led me on a much more enriching path than I could have ever imagined.The role of teacher, which I have been practicing for over 10 years, and later that of trainer, gradually settled into my journey.
