Skip to contentThe method focuses on strengthening the deep muscles of the torso, enhancing spinal mobility and developing body awareness.
The exercises combine strength, flexibility and mobility to help you feel freer in your body. We work with the rhythm of our breath to execute more fluid, controlled, and conscientious movement.
Pilates is excellent for people with back problems or as a preventive measure, as the majority of exercises are devoted to strengthening the abdominals and the back.
This discipline improves posture, reduces tension, relaxes the nervous system and makes you feel more balanced.
We offer several forms of Pilates to cater to everyone’s needs and preferences. Here are the different options available to you: Pilates Reformer, Mat Pilates, Pilates on the Table, and Pilates MOTR. We invite you to watch the video below to distinguish between the various Pilates forms and choose the one that suits you best.
Strengthens postural muscles
We work all the major muscle chains of the body, from proximal to distal (from the center of the abdominals to the extremities of the body).Postural muscles become stronger and more solid to support us in everyday life.
Improves mobility
The classes focuses on spinal mobility through core control (also known as the "power house").As Joseph Pilates said, ''Do Pilates to have a spine as strong as a Greek spine and as flexible as a cat's''.
Develops body awareness
All exercises, guided by our breath, are executed slowly, with control and fluidity. The instructor provides students with invaluable details about the human body to help them better discover themselves. At the end of a class, we often feel lighter, taller and more energized!

Are you interested in practicing yoga, pilates, barre fitness, or Essentrics during your pregnancy?
We offer specific prenatal classes exclusively for pregnant women. You can attend these classes from the early weeks of pregnancy until your delivery. Approval from your doctor is strongly recommended and required if you are less than 12 weeks pregnant. For more information on prenatal classes, click here.
If the prenatal class schedule doesn’t fit your availability and you would like to participate in a general class, it’s possible. However, please be aware that not all of our instructors are trained to meet the needs of pregnant women. The instructor may refuse you access to the class.
If you wish to take a barre fitness, mat pilates, or Essentrics class, we recommend booking a private session. We will connect you with a prenatal-trained instructor. This way, you’ll receive personalized attention tailored to your needs as a pregnant woman.
If the schedule of these prenatal classes doesn’t suit you or the studio offering them is too far from your home, you can attend any mat pilates class of your choice. However, you must inform the instructor that you are pregnant. This will allow her to offer you more suitable exercise variations and keep a closer eye on you. It is also necessary to seek your doctor’s advice.

Mat Pilates, also known as traditional Pilates mat work, is a physical exercise method practiced standing or lying on a mat. Pilates is a form of physical conditioning developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century. The method focuses on strengthening the deep muscles of the trunk, improving spinal mobility, and developing body awareness.
In addition to its physical benefits, mat Pilates improves posture, flexibility, and balance. The exercises are designed to target the deep muscles, particularly those of the abdomen, back, and pelvis, to promote optimal body alignment. This practice is accessible to everyone, regardless of fitness level, and can be adapted to meet individual needs, whether for rehabilitation, muscle strengthening, or overall well-being.
The Penchenat Table Pilates is practiced in a horizontal or inclined position. You perform a variety of movement sequences to engage all muscle chains. By focusing the action levels on the spine, this training provides intense muscle strengthening. It is practiced to help improve posture and physical endurance in daily life, as well as to assist athletes in achieving better performance.
Penchenat Table Pilates is a physical exercise method named after its creator, Philippe Penchenat. This method uses a Pilates table to perform a series of exercises aimed at strengthening muscles, improving posture and flexibility, and promoting better coordination and concentration.
MOTR Pilates is a variation of Pilates that uses a portable and highly versatile device called MOTR (Movement On The Roller). This small apparatus visually resembles a Pilates roller but offers the same functionalities as a reformer (with ropes, straps, and adjustable resistance). Consider MOTR Pilates as a blend of mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates, and Barre Fitness.
To participate in this class, you need a good basic level of physical fitness. All movements are accessible, but we do not recommend this type of training if you have significant injuries. However, this class is perfect if you want to improve strength, coordination, and balance.
This one-hour class is divided into two distinct parts:
1st part: For 30 minutes, you will engage in standing cardiovascular and muscle-strengthening exercises. During this initial phase, you will sweat and burn calories. Various equipment (weights, bands, balls, etc.) is sometimes used to intensify the session, or simply your own body weight.
2nd part: For 20 to 25 minutes, you will focus on Pilates exercises on the floor, at a slower pace. You will perform movements that combine strength, flexibility, mobility, balance, body awareness, and breathing.
Finally, the class ends with 5 to 10 minutes of stretching to help you relax.
This ball, often called a Swiss ball, provides an unstable surface, which forces the body’s stabilizing muscles to work harder to maintain balance during exercises.
This activity strengthens the core, also known as the “powerhouse” in Pilates. The exercises performed on the ball engage the deep muscles of the abdomen, back, and stabilizing muscles, improving posture, stability, and overall body strength.
