The benefits of this workshop

Reduced stress and anxiety

Yoga practices, meditation and wellness-oriented activities help reduce daily stress, promoting a calmer, more balanced mental state.

Improved physical and mental health

Yoga practices help to improve flexibility, physical strength and mental health. By integrating these activities, participants can experience an overall improvement in their physical and mental well-being, creating a balance between body and mind in the sometimes demanding context of urban life.

Improved sleep

Regular yoga and meditation practices can help regulate the sleep cycle. An urban retreat offers the opportunity to disconnect from the hectic pace of city life, promoting better, more restorative sleep.

Suzanne Ross - Studio Équilibre Montréal

Be guided by Suzanne Ross, Experienced Yoga Instructor

Passionate about movement and challenged by the search for a harmonious balance between body and mind, I began my career in professional dance as a performer and teacher 40 years ago, before moving into the wonderful world of yoga in 2001.

These 20 years of practice have taken root thanks to numerous trainings and retreats offered by professionals whose teachings are still with me every day: Lyne St Roch, Hart Lazer, Leigh Evans, Gérard Arnaud, Ramanand Patel, Janice Clarfield (Prenatal Yoga), Carole Morency (Yoga for Seniors), Pascal Auclair (Mindfulness Meditation), Julie Corbeil (Vedic Meditation).

So I’ve been teaching yoga full-time since 2006, and from 2016 to 2021, I was lucky enough to become the owner of Studios Vert Prana in Montreal, a luminous place with a caring team where I was able to grow as much in my teaching as in the many spheres of entrepreneurship. I now teach at Le Yoga du coin in Longueuil.

Through this enriching adventure, my personal quest for yoga has been enhanced by the inclusion of Vedic meditation, a practice I’ve been doing every day for several years now, and which brings me balance, clarity of mind and calm.

My teaching is known for being dynamic and unifying, done in an atmosphere of fun and respect. My emphasis is on foundation postures, which are designed to develop awareness of breath and grounding.

These practices are part of a personal journey towards greater self-awareness and inner well-being.
