Yoga Alliance, Certified Program
Naada Yoga has joined the Studio Équilibre network. Naada Yoga’s teacher training program will continue with the same team at the same Mile End location.
This foundational 200-hour training is designed to make the deeper dimensions of yoga accessible to people of all ages and physical abilities.
Whether you wish to teach yoga or simply deepen your personal practice, this program will provide you with the knowledge and tools needed to share this living practice safely, skillfully, and with integrity.
By the end of the training, you will have gained an in-depth understanding of yoga, along with a solid foundation for beginning to teach. The program leads to an internationally recognized certification and is the first step toward completing a comprehensive 500-hour teacher training program.

NYTT 201 - Accessible Asana: Foundations, Methods, and Practice
This training provides an understanding of modern and traditional approaches to postural yoga, as well as their effects on alignment, breathing, and overall health.
It will help you develop your personal asana practice while providing you with the essential tools to begin sharing yoga with others.
Our approach is based on the belief that yoga can be accessible to everyone. Particular attention will therefore be given to exploring different posture variations and adaptations to promote accessibility and inclusion in group classes.

NYTT 202 - Functional Anatomy: The Biomechanics of Movement
This module introduces the fundamental principles of anatomy and physiology essential to the practice and teaching of yoga.
It will deepen your understanding of how the human body functions as an integrated whole and help you better grasp the relationships between anatomy, movement, breathing, and alignment.
Studying the subtle body will enrich our understanding of physical alignment, both in yoga practice and in the various areas of our lives.

NYTT 203 - Progressive Asana: Beyond the Foundations
This module will allow you to deepen your understanding of alignment principles, as well as the inner and outer forms of the postures.
You will learn to give clear instructions grounded in foundational principles, breathing, and movement. You will explore different variations of the main postures covered in the Accessible Asana module.
Adaptations for specific conditions or needs will also be presented. You will learn how to introduce more advanced alignment principles to safely guide students toward more challenging postures.

NYTT 204 - Yoga Philosophy: History and Culture
Instructor: Pascale Wettstein
This module provides an overview of yoga from a historical and philosophical perspective, placing its evolution and application within the context of our culture and time.
You will study the philosophical foundations of yoga, along with the tradition’s core teachings.
The course content will cover key texts, including Patañjali’s Yoga Sūtras, the Bhagavad Gītā, and the Upanishads.
This exploration will deepen your understanding of yoga’s origins, how its practices have evolved over time, and how its teachings can illuminate our contemporary experience.

Accreditation
The program provides a pathway toward the Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) designation with Yoga Alliance. Participants must successfully complete all components of the training and fulfill Yoga Alliance’s registration requirements.

No. The training is also suitable for anyone who wishes to deepen their personal practice and gain a better understanding of the different dimensions of yoga.
No. You do not need to master complex poses. However, we recommend having maintained a regular yoga practice for at least one year.
The training is bilingual and is offered in both French and English.
All four modules take place at Studio Équilibre – Naada, located at 5540 Casgrain Avenue in Montreal’s Mile End.

Yes. The regular rate can be paid in four installments of $800 plus tax. The early-bird rate can be paid in four installments of $748.75 plus tax.

The program meets Yoga Alliance requirements and provides a pathway toward the RYT 200 designation. The administrative requirements applicable to the next cohort will be confirmed before you complete your registration.
