A festive Cuban dance for all levels
LEVEL 1 — BEGINNER
This course is for people who:
You will learn the basic steps, rhythm, partner connection, and the fundamental principles of salsa rueda. No previous rueda experience is required.
LEVEL 2 — ADVANCED BEGINNER
This level is for people who know the basics of salsa rueda and are familiar with the most common moves.
You will develop your fluidity, connection, and technique while expanding your repertoire of moves. You will also begin using these moves outside the rueda to become more confident and independent when dancing with a partner.
LEVEL 3 — INTERMEDIATE
This level is for people who have a solid command of the fundamentals and the most common rueda moves.
You will practise dancing to faster rhythms and learn more complex moves, changes of direction, and rhythmic variations. You will also become more confident dancing with a partner outside the rueda format.

Patricia: At the age of 10, my mother enrolled me in modern jazz and ballet classes, hoping it would help improve my slightly rounded posture. From that moment on, dance never left my life, and I’ve had the chance to explore different styles over the years.
At 20, I discovered salsa… and fell in love with my dance teacher, who would become my partner for six years. Together, we taught classes in a small neighborhood association in the suburbs of Paris. Naturally athletic, I quickly decided to make it my profession.
In 2004, I earned my diploma as a sports instructor. Still driven by my passion for dance, I then joined the Salsabor school, a renowned salsa institution in Paris.
In 2008, I obtained my diploma as a teacher and professional dancer in Latin and Afro-Caribbean dances. It was also around that time that I discovered Pilates, which became, for me, the best complementary training for dancers.
Today, I don’t consider dance as a job, but above all as a passion I want to share and pass on — always with joy and pleasure.
Eduardo: An IT engineer of Italian-Argentinian heritage, I have been passionate about rueda de casino for over 20 years. I have had the privilege of training with several renowned instructors, including Orlando Alfonso of Cuba Baila. I have also taken part in many international rueda congresses.
As a devoted enthusiast of this joyful and dynamic group dance, I am one of the founders of The Rueda Project, a community group established in 2011 whose mission is to spread and develop rueda de casino in a fun and engaging way around the world.
I am a member of the Rueda Alliance and actively promote the Rueda Standard, a universal system of moves and calls that enables rueda dancers worldwide to dance together, regardless of their city or dance school.
I will be assisting Patricia during this session and continuing to help her share this passion. Come join us, have fun, and experience the unique and contagious energy of rueda de casino!
