Start the year by becoming a real salsero in just one day!

The “De Zero to Salsero” workshop is designed for beginners, as well as for dancers who already have some salsa experience and would like to discover a different style: Salsa Rueda (Rueda de Casino).

In just 4 hours, you will learn the essential salsa foundations, basic steps, first figures, and partner connection, allowing you to dance with confidence and ease.

You will also be introduced to the fundamentals of Rueda de Casino, a fun and energetic group dance performed in a circle.

This workshop represents the complete Level 1 program.
If you are new to salsa, this workshop is required before joining the Salsa Rueda – Level 2 session.
Level 2 is not a beginner-level class and is intended for dancers who already master the Level 1 foundations (beginner+ / early intermediate).

Outcome: leave feeling confident, smiling, and ready to dance with anyone!

Level: Beginner (accessible to beginners and to dancers with prior salsa experience).

“From Zero to Salsero” isn’t just a workshop, it’s a moment to let go, move, and connect with the music.

In only 4 hours, you’ll learn the fundamentals of salsa, your first steps and patterns, and you’ll try your first Rueda de Casino sequences.

You’ll leave feeling confident, at ease, and ready to dance, while enjoying the joy of group dancing.

Patricia: At 10 years old, my mother enrolled me in modern jazz and ballet classes in hopes of improving my slightly slouched posture. From that moment on, dance never left my life, and I’ve had the chance to explore many styles over the years.

At 20, I discovered salsa, and fell in love with my dance instructor, who became my partner for six years. Together, we taught in a small community association in the suburbs of Paris. Naturally athletic, I soon decided to make it my profession.

In 2004, I earned my sports educator diploma. Still driven by my passion for dance, I later joined the Salsabor school, a major reference in Paris for salsa.

In 2008, I obtained my professional certification as a teacher and performer in Latin and Afro-Caribbean dances. Around the same time, I discovered Pilates, which became my favorite complementary training for dancers.

Today, I don’t consider dance a job, but a passion I love to share, with joy, energy, and pleasure.

Antonio: Originally from Martinique, I discovered Afro-Cuban dances during my studies, at a time when I was mostly focused on playing bass guitar in Caribbean music.

Over the years, dance became a true passion. I trained with several teachers in France and Cuba, joined Latin dance companies, and taught Cuban salsa in Paris. For the past ten years, I have also been practicing West Coast Swing while staying active in the salsa community in Montreal.
