Trained at Salsabor Paris

Patricia: At 10 years old, my mother enrolled me in modern jazz and ballet classes in hopes of improving my slightly slouched posture. From that moment on, dance never left my life, and I’ve had the chance to explore many styles over the years.
At 20, I discovered salsa, and fell in love with my dance instructor, who became my partner for six years. Together, we taught in a small community association in the suburbs of Paris. Naturally athletic, I soon decided to make it my profession.
In 2004, I earned my sports educator diploma. Still driven by my passion for dance, I later joined the Salsabor school, a major reference in Paris for salsa.
In 2008, I obtained my professional certification as a teacher and performer in Latin and Afro-Caribbean dances. Around the same time, I discovered Pilates, which became my favorite complementary training for dancers.
Today, I don’t consider dance a job, but a passion I love to share, with joy, energy, and pleasure.
Antonio: Originally from Martinique, I discovered Afro-Cuban dances during my studies, at a time when I was mostly focused on playing bass guitar in Caribbean music.
Over the years, dance became a true passion. I trained with several teachers in France and Cuba, joined Latin dance companies, and taught Cuban salsa in Paris. For the past ten years, I have also been practicing West Coast Swing while staying active in the salsa community in Montreal.
