Group Classes can be used immediately after purchase, even if the session for which they were purchased has not yet started. They remain valid until the end of that session.
All classes are non-transferable and must be used by the person whose name is on the account.
Class schedules typically follow 8-week sessions, except for the summer session (July–August), which usually lasts 10 weeks. Session dates are indicated at the time of purchase. The expiration date of your classes is shown at checkout and appears on your receipt. However, there are a few exceptions:
•If you are a new client and have purchased your first group class package after a session has already begun, your package will be automatically extended until the end of the following session. Please disregard the expiration date on your receipt – it will be updated by our team within 48 hours of your purchase.
• If you purchase a new group class package for a new session, any unused classes from the previous session will be extended until the end of the new session.
•If you are pregnant and attending prenatal classes at the studio, all purchased classes are valid until the end of your pregnancy, regardless of the expiration date shown on your receipt. If you still have unused classes after your due date, we will extend them for one year free of charge. To request an extension, please email us at info@equilibrestudio.com with your expected due date.
Private and Semi-Private Classes are not tied to a session, but they do have a usage period.
• Single sessions are valid for 2 months
• 5-class packages are valid for 3 months
• 10-class packages are valid for 6 months
The expiration date is shown at the time of purchase and listed on your receipt.
Other Classes, particularly workshops, are not part of a regular session. They are usually associated with specific event dates and cannot be used outside the scheduled period. The expiration date is also provided at the time of purchase and listed on your receipt.
All unused classes, regardless of type, will expire on the date indicated at purchase. However, extensions may be granted under the following conditions:
•If you have a few unused classes and simply need more time to complete them, you can request an extension by emailing us at info@equilibrestudio.com. Most reasonable requests will be granted free of charge, at our discretion.
•If you are unable to attend your classes due to an unexpected health issue (illness, accident), your classes may be extended indefinitely at no additional cost. Please email us at info@equilibrestudio.com and include medical documentation with your request.
•In other cases, expired and unused classes may still be reactivated, but will be subject to a rate adjustment. This adjustment is based on the difference between the current price for single classes (no discounts applied) and the rate you originally paid. To request this, email info@equilibrestudio.com. We will calculate the amount of the adjustment. Once paid, your classes will be reactivated, regardless of the original purchase date.
Payment must be made before the start of the class or activity.
For courses with a unit price over $100 and a duration of more than 3 days, it is possible to request payment in two equal installments.
Group or Private Classes: You must reserve your spot for each class you wish to attend.
Reservations can be made online via our website (under the “Registration” menu, submenu “Register on Bsport”), through our mobile app “Studio Équilibre Montréal” available on iPhone and Android, by phone during office hours (514-745-2837), or by email at info@equilibrestudio.com, subject to availability.
Bookings can be made for all classes in the current session, up to 3 hours before the class starts, as long as there are spots available.
Please do not show up without a prior reservation. You may be denied entry, especially if the class is full.
A naturopathy receipt can be issued to participants of private or semi-private classes, provided the session is given by an instructor who is a member of the CPMDQ.
Please contact our office to inquire about the list of eligible instructors.
Cancellations are possible and must be made online, by email, or by phone (voicemail accepted outside office hours) at least 24 hours before the start of the class. After this deadline, the class will be considered used, except in cases of medical emergency, upon presentation of supporting documentation.
If you do not show up for a class you booked without cancelling at least 24 hours in advance, your class will be forfeited.
If you arrive late, your access is guaranteed during the first 10 minutes of the class. After this time, the instructor may deny entry to avoid disrupting the group. In this case, your class will also be forfeited.
Studio Équilibre is not responsible for transportation delays, parking issues, weather conditions, or any other circumstances that may prevent you from attending your class.
In rare cases, Studio Équilibre may cancel a class, for example if only one person is registered, or due to unforeseen circumstances. You will be notified in advance, and your class will be credited back to your account.
Unlimited Memberships – Late Cancellation and No-Show Fees
If you have an unlimited class membership, the following cancellation fees may apply:
•$10 late cancellation fee if your spot was not filled by someone else.
•$15 no-show fee if you miss a reserved class without cancelling.
If your absence is due to a medical emergency (e.g. hospitalization), your class can be recredited upon submission of a signed note from a health professional.
Please note that Studio Équilibre strictly enforces these policies. Thank you for your understanding.
A refund request is only possible if your class package is still valid and has not expired.
If none of the classes in your package have been used or booked, you are eligible for a full refund with no fees.
If you have already started using your classes, you may still request a refund. In that case, the following fees will be deducted from your original purchase amount:
•The current single-class rate for each class you have used
•A 10% penalty on the value of the unused classes
A class is considered used if:
•You attended the class
•You booked the class and did not show up (no-show)
•You cancelled your booking less than 24 hours in advance (late cancel)
Refund requests must be sent by email to info@equilibrestudio.com.
Refunds are processed within a maximum of 10 days.
